Wrestlers in 7th and 8th grade have the opportunity to compete with the Pennridge Wrestling Rams (PWR) while also representing their middle school teams. Athletes are encouraged and permitted to participate in both programs, allowing them to gain additional experience and develop their skills. By competing in both environments, wrestlers benefit from diverse coaching perspectives, increased mat time, and exposure to different levels of competition.
Note: Participation in the PWR program does not automatically include wrestlers in their respective school’s wrestling roster. Goals for our Wrestlers
- Improve Strength & Agility
- Improve Balance and Quickness
- Improve Flexibility
- Gain Respect for the Sport
- Become a Supportive Teammate
- Be Humbled at Times
- Improve Self Confidence
- Win! Win Respectfully
